The ruins of Umm Ruweim, Quweib, and Umm Khafourhttp://en.wadi-abu-dom.de/umm-khafour/ are located about 20 km from the Nile. These remains consist of stone structures, some with complex architecture (Umm Ruweim 1) and others amounting nowadays only to enclosures. All are situated around the oasis in Wadi Abu Dom. At some distance from the oasis, at El Tuweina, another stone structure was discovered in 2012.
